Cyclist Education (7 Responses)

Cyclist Education

  • Cyclists have a right to share the road, and that means that, like vehicles and pedestrians, they have a duty to abide by the rules of the road.
  • The Commonwealth does not mandate cyclist education nor does it provide for cyclist education in public schools.
  • Many organizations and municipalities offer bicycle safety education but many cyclists, particularly children, have never received any type of formal safety education.
