Steve Annear with the Boston Globe reported on the upcoming Bike Safety Forum on February 23. He spoke with Senator Will Brownsberger who said, “the concept of the forum is to have a dialogue between municipalities, the people who operate large vehicles, and cyclists, and to talk about what’s practical and effective.” Attendees to the event will hear from representatives from the cities of Cambridge and Boston, the Legislature, the Massachusetts Motor Transportation Association, and the MBTA. Advocates from the biking community are also involved. “Becca Wolfson, interim executive director of the Boston Cyclists Union, a nonprofit that helped organize the event, said the forum will be a great way to get everyone on the same page about bike safety efforts.”
